Analytics: Microsoft Clarity
We use Microsoft Clarity to see how the website is used, so that we can improve it.
What is collected. Clarity records how pages are used, for example clicks and taps, mouse movements, scrolling and the pages viewed. From these it builds heatmaps and session recordings. It also collects technical data such as the device and browser type, screen size and approximate location, which it derives from the IP address. Clarity does not store the full IP address, and by default it masks sensitive data such as passwords and payment card details in recordings.
No cookies. On our website Clarity works without cookies. It treats each page load separately and does not link your visits together.
Legal basis. Our legitimate interest in developing the website and its usability (Article 6(1)(f) of the EU General Data Protection Regulation).
Retention. Clarity keeps session recordings for 30 days. Heatmaps, aggregated data and specially marked recordings are kept for 13 months. After that the data is deleted.
Recipients and transfers outside the EU. Microsoft processes the data on our behalf. The data may also be processed in the United States. Microsoft is certified under the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework. More information: Microsoft Privacy Statement.
How to opt out. Clarity only loads when JavaScript is enabled in your browser. You can block it with your browser’s tracking protection or by turning JavaScript off. The website also works without JavaScript.
Website delivery
The website is delivered through Cloudflare. When you open a page, your browser sends technical data such as your IP address, browser details and the address of the requested page. Cloudflare processes this data to deliver the website and to protect it against misuse.
Legal basis. Our legitimate interest in keeping the website working and secure (Article 6(1)(f)).
Transfers outside the EU. Cloudflare may also process the data outside the EU. Cloudflare is certified under the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
Enquiries
When you contact us by email or phone, we process the information you give us, such as your name, contact details and the content of your message, to answer you and to prepare a quote.
Legal basis. Steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b)) and our legitimate interest in managing customer relationships (Article 6(1)(f)).
Retention. We keep the data for as long as handling your enquiry and any resulting customer relationship requires.
Cookies
The website does not use cookies.
Your rights
You have the right to
- know what data we process about you and get a copy of it
- ask us to correct inaccurate data
- ask us to delete your data or restrict its processing
- object to processing based on legitimate interest.
Send your request to info@taki.fi. Clarity data is not linked to your name or contact details, so we may not be able to identify which data concerns you.
Changes
We update this policy when the website’s services or data processing change. The date of the latest update is shown at the top of the page.
